AMWA Charity Ball
The AMWA Charity Ball last weekend was a huge success! We raised over $400 for the Domicile! Thank you to all the hard workers who gave their time and effort to donate the lovely hats (in no particular order): Kristen Cline, Kourtne Murphy, Whitney Burnett, Emily Bray, Tina Firouzbakht, Kelli Gross, Valena Sellers, Dawn New-Weeks, Claire Cummins, Maranatha McLean, Jill McAngus, Pam Hayes, Kim Burckart and Niloo Al.
Special thanks to Yolan Shaw and Rachel Shin for putting NK's Baskets together and organizing the details. Thanks also to Maryann Mbaka and the AMWA Social Committee for working with NK :)

Knitting Behind Bars
We feel that knitting provides everything you need to do, everything you should have learned in kindergarten. It teaches you how to focus. It teaches you how to make a task and meet that goal. It teaches you how to control your anger. And we felt that all of these skills are life skills, are job skills.
