AMWA Charity Ball

The AMWA Charity Ball last weekend was a huge success! We raised over $400 for the Domicile! Thank you to all the hard workers who gave their time and effort to donate the lovely hats (in no particular order): Kristen Cline, Kourtne Murphy, Whitney Burnett, Emily Bray, Tina Firouzbakht, Kelli Gross, Valena Sellers, Dawn New-Weeks, Claire Cummins, Maranatha McLean, Jill McAngus, Pam Hayes, Kim Burckart and Niloo Al.

Special thanks to Yolan Shaw and Rachel Shin for putting NK's Baskets together and organizing the details. Thanks also to Maryann Mbaka and the AMWA Social Committee for working with NK :)

Community Fair 2011

Netter's Knitter's booth at the Community Fair was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who stopped by! We had several large stress pills, around 100 keychain pills and several cute hats :) (Also, there was a skull on the table, can you spot it below?) Click the link below the picture for more...

Next Generation Knitters

I was googling around today, and I came across the below site. It's got sound clips of the kids and their knitting teacher from Chestnut Hill School outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I particularly like the one in which they explain the difference between crochet and knitting.

Check it out.
