Knitting Behind Bars

We feel that knitting provides everything you need to do, everything you should have learned in kindergarten. It teaches you how to focus. It teaches you how to make a task and meet that goal. It teaches you how to control your anger. And we felt that all of these skills are life skills, are job skills. These are skills that, quite possibly, many people in our society are lacking.

Updated Page!

You no longer have to unravel all your hard work and start again if you spot a mistake, because there is a wealth of information and helpful resources on the internet. Some, of course, are much more helpful than others. We, here at NK Headquarters, have done the research for you, and watched many different videos on Youtube to find the best ones. Here are the best two Youtube channels we found:

Testimonial:
I got this idea when I spotted some mistakes and dropped stitches after I had been knitting for some time in front of the TV. I thought I was paying enough attention to my work, but apparently not. So, in an attempt to avoid starting all over again - and it being the Holidays, I would not see the expert problem solvers of NK for some time - I combed Youtube for some tips, and finally found this video to be the most useful for my problem, and so I only had to undo a part of my work, and not all of it :) Say No to Distracted Knitting!
